Release Date: 23 August 2024

A blend of psychological horror, thriller, and drama, Blink Twice follows a tech billionaire, Slater King, who whisks away cocktail waitress Frida along with their friends to his private island. 

Giving Knives Out Part 2,  yet? But no, it’s much more than Knives Out, because in this psychological thriller, people start disappearing, but so do memories of them. And now, Frida must remember, and fight to make it out of the island alive.

With Channing Tatum in the lead, and Zoe Kravitz at the directorial helm, the potential in Blink Twice is palpable and you can bet we’re buying a ticket.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice

Release Date: September 6, 2024

Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice…boo! Wednesday Addams is coming back to our screens with another scary role in the 2024 release, Beetlejuice. 

Another monster making a re-appearance will be Beetlejuice, who is coming back to our screens to unleash his original brand of madness, but this time on Lydia’s (Winona Ryder) teenage daughter (Jenna Ortega), who discovers a mysterious door to the afterlife in their family home.

Speak No Evil

Release Date: Friday, 13th September 2024

Psychological horror is the new horror. Speak No Evil, is a toned-down remake of the 2022 release with the same name. The 2024 release, according to the trailer of the movie, is going to have psychological aspects of horror instead of straight horror. 

The plot follows an American family befriending a British family who invites them to their country house. Intrigued yet? The trailer spoils major plot points of the movie, by revealing that the British family has sinister intentions, and also what’s wrong with their son.

Smile 2

Release Date: October 18, 2024

After the 2022 Smile, scared the “smile” out of us, the second part might make us cry. Smile 2, starring Naomi Scott, Sosie Bacon, and Kyle Gallner, is going to be this spooky season’s spookiest release. Parker Finn is all set to return with a spine-chilling story about an evil entity that preys on its victims’ trauma. 

The trailer of the movie was released a month ago and Jeepers! It’s about a popular singer (Naomi Scott), whose bedazzled and sparkling life comes to a hold-still when people around her start acting mysterious and concerningly homicidal. 

Wolf Man

Release Date: January 2025

Awoooooo! Speaking of horrors, Leigh Whannel will be bringing back our favorite one, with Wolf Man. Christopher Abbott is set to star in the movie opposite Julia Garner from Inventing Anna and the hit television series, Ozark. 

Wolf Man is set on the predator chasing and disturbing a man’s life and his family. It’s going to be executive-produced by Ryan Gosling and is set to be released in January 2025.

These movies are going to bedevil you, which has nothing to do with the bedevil-ing that’s going to be happening on our screens.
