4 Travel Influencers to follow if you’re an adventure lover

I’m on a mission to explore and learn more about our planet every day. But I don’t want to do it alone! I created Exploren Borgen to share insights, tips, and stories about my favorite destinations and wild spaces with adventurers like you.

They all advocate for sustainability, conservation, accessibility. It’s important to leave nature exactly as you found it without disturbing it.

  1. Explorenborgen: Meet Sarah. “Educator, Adventurer, and YOUR Outdoor Bestie.” She goes hiking, camping and/or backpacking throughout the country and her recent adventure has to do with going hiking across the 100 Classic Hikes of Washington. In addition to the hiking trail suggestions that lead to the most beautiful destination, she also shares travel tips, camping advice. She occasionally organizes group trips, and although they’re rare (maybe even because of it), you wouldn’t want to miss them. Sarah also writes a travel blog of all her adventures: https://explorenborgen.com/. You can buy hiking and camping gear and other travel essentials she swears by through her Instagram bio where she has linked everything. The best are her hiking boots and car camping gear, by the way.
  1. @mermaid.kayleigh: Now, for the other side of adventure travel, the ocean, because you wouldn’t believe the magnitude of adventure you can find while deep in the ocean surrounded by water and stories. And you’ll be glad to know that if you follow Kayleigh Nicole Grant, you’re in great hands, because she’s basically a real life mermaid with more than 15 million followers on Tiktok.

She posts her interactions with the Oceanic wildlife, peppered with tips on how to avoid all types of sharks if you accidentally come across one while diving. Residing in Hawaii at the moment, she sometimes takes Ocean safaris and other tours and lessons. You can shop her gear and merch through the bio on her instagram account.

  1. @jordentually: A true travel lover who travels for the adrenaline rush travel gives them, can make a boring day in a boring city, into “an epic day”. And Jorden Tually is that travel influencer. In the middle of going cliff jumping in Spain and making acquaintances with a “cute octopus” you would suddenly find him at the La Tomatina Festival covered in tomatoes and filming his next reel about the “5 Facts you didn’t know about La Tomatina festival.”

And it doesn’t end there, because the next week you’ll find him crossing the world’s most dangerous bridge with his selfiestick in hand and swimming with orcas off the California coast. He occasionally hosts group trips, and provides links to his equipment on the link in his instagram bio.

  1. @mikahmey

Record setting adventurer and road trip expert Mikah Meyer is celebrated for his adventurous spirit and dedication to exploring. For over five years, he has been running, biking, and rafting, while also working to create safe and inclusive spaces for LGBTQIA individuals in the great outdoors. What’s more, he became the first person to visit all 400+ National Park Service sites in a single journey.

His short film, Canyon Chorus, set in Utah’s Green River, follows him, his mentor Larry and friends as they embark on a river rafting trip through Desolation Canyon while also discovering their true selves in the outdoors.
